KJ Custom is a family-owned & operated business and has been since the early 2000s. Originally from Colorado, we quickly found out that what we’d heard about Texas was accurate; it’s extremely hot, and everything is bigger, including bugs. We have always had a passion for nature but enjoy it outside the confines of our gather places, so we sought to create living spaces that provide everything the great outdoors have to offer coupled with the comfort of home. Out of that desire, KJ Custom was born.
Teresa Williams – Owner
Teresa Williams is our fearless owner. She took over the business from her brother in 2010 with a business & marketing background but limited construction experience. Digging in, Teresa started learning all she could about construction, particularly motorized screens. She threw herself into local organizations, attended any training she could, and worked the field with her installers. She is now one of the leading industry experts in her field and the Dallas/Ft Worth distributor for Universal Motion Screens.
Jackie Brooks, Marketing Director
Jackie joined our team in October 2019. Jackie, who has had years of sales experience and possesses a natural talent of establishing customer relationships, markets KJ Custom in the field. She loves meeting new clients and her approach of ‘face to face’ marketing in today’s world of digital marketing is what makes Jackie unique. Jackie joined KJ Custom after 15 years of friendship with Teresa, starting their relationship as neighbors and watching their children grow up together.
Jordan Swafford, Administrator & Marketing Coordinator
Jordan is our behind the scenes Administrator & Marketing Coordinator. Chances are when you call in, you will get Jordan first. Jordan comes from a screen manufacturing background and has fit seamlessly into our family orientated culture. She is hardworking and dedicated to making sure your experience with us is the best from start to finish. Jordan works remote, living in Sulphur Springs with her adorable dog Nash.
Abbigail Thompson, Digital Marketing Coordinator
Abbi is our newest KJ team member. Abbi just graduated from Texas A & M Corpus Christi with a degree in media studies. From navigating the digital landscape, delving into the latest social media trends, and playing around with graphic designs, Abbi is our media go to girl. Outside work, she enjoys reading, thrift shopping and quality time with her two cats (Eleanor & Walter.)
Britton Oggier, Installation Manager
Britton has been installing motorized screens since he was 16 and is KJ Custom’s Lead Installer. If he can’t fix it, it can’t be done. Bringing a vast amount of knowledge to the KJ Team, Britton takes pride making sure every job is done right. He rapport with customers is first rate as is his field knowledge. Britton loves spending his down time with his lovely wife, Alex and dog, Riley.
Micah Bermudez, Installer
Micah’s background is on the window side of construction, so transferring that knowledge over to installing screens was very easy. Micah’s work ethic is exemplary along with his customer service skills. Micah is from the Ft Worth side of town and lives with his lovely wife, Ashlyn and daughter, Alayah.
Aaron Braddock, Installer
Aaron has been installing screens for years in various parts of the industry. He is a powerhouse of knowledge and top-notch craftsmanship. Aaron fits in well with our family culture and has recently become a new dad of an adorable baby girl, Isabel. He and his wife, Daliah also live in the Ft Worth area.
Ethan Roberts, Installer
Ethan is our youngest installer but has proven his worth over the past two years. Ethan just recently graduated highschool and is enjoying learning various jobs within the construction industry.
Shane Williams – Williams Design + Build
Williams Design + Build is our company’s general contractor. Shane builds all our outdoor kitchens, louvered roof systems, steel structures and does all construction work if needed for our motorized screens. With 25yrs of general contracting under Shane’s belt, he is perfectionist on the job site. Shane owns Williams Designs + Build and works in conjunction with KJ Custom on all their projects.
